SpeechWhiz
Project manager: Adrian Chmura
SpeechWhiz is an application that is supposed to help users practice speaking by simulating real-life conversations with AI. Speechwhiz supports over 20 of the world's most spoken languages, ensuring that a big part of the world can make use of the application. It utilizes Speech-to-Text, AI, and Text-to-speech to simulate a realistic and engaging practice environment. This application is especially beneficial for language learners, those facing pronunciation challenges, and those with speaking anxiety.
Unfortunately, we have scrapped this project during the testing stage just before its launch. Our goal at Chmura Software is to make our applications free or affordable for everyone. Given that most AI API providers charge based on usage, it made reaching this goal for SpeechWhiz impossible.
